Here’s what past course participants and past Patients I’ve treated are saying about L.A.S.T.!
Got a nice testimonial today. The names of the patients have been changed to protect their identities.
Hannah is a long time patient of mine. She referred her friend Christina to me. Christina was in a rear-end MVA February 2014. Her shoulder was increasing in pain and tension. I treated her today for the first time.
“We left your clinic and walked down the block to get the car. We drove (Christina was driving) around the block to go into the Chevron so I could get a slurpee. When I came out to the car, Christina was behind the wheel, tears streaming down her face! This was the first time in months she has been able to move her arm!”
Where do I start?…. My treatments have changed completely, I have slowed down and the results are amazing. My new key words: Reciprocal Tension. Thank you so much for your passion your hard work which has brought some of us even more pleasure in what we do. I have been having amazing results with cases like plantarfasciitis, calf pain, knee pain and wrists/hand ailments. LAST was made for me! Thank you again.
I have completely changed the way I work and I am loving every minute of using these techniques. Every day I am amazed at how much using the techniques is giving me great results. My palpation skills is improving every day and my clients are noticing. Thank you so much and do continue to send me more information… 🙂

I think the classiest thing you have done here is to create something visually appealing while keeping it accessible and informative. Lovely stuff.

I had my front teeth knocked-out when I was 10yo and j-walking. Before that, my teeth were quite perfect and beautiful. I pretty much stopped smiling until I went to a dentist two years later who restored my teeth with porcelain. I was SO happy, I wanted to cry and hug the dentist, but I’ve always held the extremes like that back.
I didn’t say anything at the time, but at one point on Sunday after you demoed/ treated my shoulder, I felt the exact same as I did with that dentist! I was beginning to wonder if my shoulder had resolved to the furthest extent of it’s ability…I was almost ready to accept that I will always have some pain there. Rob, I have MAYBE 1% of pain now, and I really have to hunt for it! I told you that I was at that 90% recovery point but couldn’t seem to get past that. Voila! You did it! …now I know for certainty that a 100% recovery will happen! I can comfortably swim again! I love to swim, but the arcing motion required was too painful. The past couple of days have been bliss in the pool.
This is frickin’ awesome, Rob.
Thank you!!

Hi just wanted to say, Robert I have only had the pleasure of taking one of your courses almost two years ago. Just recently I purchased you foot and ankle course. I love this! I am a mom of two toddlers and love the fact I can do a bit every night, at my leisure, understand if I could I would lov to take all your courses all in a row, probably more then once (slow learner) but for now the ease of use of this online is spectacular! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Seriously, this treatment makes me have a permagrin almost every single day. Thank you a million times over for developing and sharing it with us. The outcomes are so inspiring And my clients send their gratitude as per usual! I have never thanked an instructor so many times before haha

I want to thank you for working on my diaphragm at the course last weekend. I went for a 16km run today and I was 6 minutes faster then my last weeks time. I feel great. I love these techniques for myself and for my patients, you are truly amazing!!!

My #1 reason for taking LAST:
A few months ago, a young client came in suffering from a concussion…or atleast that is what their MD, physio, and chiro were treating them for. Leaned back in a chair and hit their head. Missed over two weeks of classes. Sever headaches, nausea, dizziness. Medication wouldnt touch the pain they were feeling. Seriously less then 30 seconds of assessment and I already knew it was more then a concussion. “What happened the week before your concussion?” I asked. “Nothing” they replied. “Yes” i said. “Something happened. Were you ran into during your practice or game? Your whole body is twisted”. “Oh!” They replied. ” someone ran into me at bball and I had the wind knocked out of me. I was really sick for about ten minutes. That was four days before the concussion”.
Well….that would explain why her right clavicle was sitting inferior and ant at the manubrium. You can imagine the upper two ribs. Her C1 was rotated superior and ant on the right side as well. Her lateral lower right ribs were all compressed into each other and the L SI JT was out of alignment. We did the slowest, most gentle, most beautiful release you have ever seen. Sternoclavicular ligs melted. Subclavius was like pudding. Gently worked around anterior bodies of C1 and had it slide right into my fingers where it belonged. We even had time to create room between the ribs for her again. I know this sounds funny, but before this class I would have missed 90% of this. It is so incredibly beautiful and so INSPIRING! I have always loved my job…but now I am in love with my job . Definitely a plus to anyone who is focusing on therapy. Trust me, your clients will thank you!
I just want you to know that I have found this the most inspiring technique I have taken in my 14 years as an RMT! I am happier and more comfortable as a therapist then I have ever been. My clients are raving about the technique and their results. The connective tissue work is absolutely beautiful, whether it’s on the ligaments, tendons, or fascia. To watch some of these dysfunctions just fade away is so rewarding!!!

I just wanted you to know I am in LOVE with this treatment. And gladly, so are my clients! I just had to tell you a story. I remembered you mentioning that people can have an emotional release since the body stores memories, etc. in fascia. I have found a few people get teary…or remember something that happened to them years ago…but the best thing that has happened so far is a friend of mine went straight home from her treatment and sat on her floor, bawling her head off. She was cold, shaking, dizzy, etc. Her hubby wrapped her in a blanket and took care of her for an hour until it subsided. Now, I say best thing…and some people would scratch their heads after that story… but it was totally an “echo” of her accident 10 years ago. She went through a short version of shock. She has been sending me notes every day for the past two weeks and she is feeling better and better. Her neck hasn’t had this much ROM since her MVA 10 years ago! I just wanted you to know that your class is the gift that just keeps on giving. I find myself smiling when I think of all the people you are helping in the world…with out having to lay your own hands on them! lol My clients wanted me to let you know that they really appreciate all the work you have put into developing this technique because it has helped many of them more then any other technique I have learned. I hope you know how much all your hard work and dedication has meant to so many broken people. Take care!

Thanks to your Guidance, I was able to correct a chronic iliolumbar strain providing relief for a man who’s had 12 years of NTW from L1 nerve root compression.

I wanted to thank you for such a fulfilling course. I could list 10 rather serious pain cases that have already seen marked improvement. My favorite was a patient who has been an ER nurse that had a floating bone fragment between the talus/calcaneus pinching into the achilles and surrounding areas. The patient received a cortisone injection 10days pr- treatment with 50% improvement. She came in 5 days post LAST treatment and hugged me jumping up and down to show me her pain free ankle (she said it was the first time in 5 years she felt NO pain). I can’t convey enough to you how nice it is to feel like my practice has elevated.
– PM, RMT
I am stunned at the amazing results I’ve been getting with LAST! And I am fascinated with the non-muscular responses i.e. sudden very high energy, emotional releases, etc. Fabulous stuff, Rob! Can’t wait to take the next course!!
– DM, RMT
It was a fantastic learning and treating experience. Robert was as brilliant as usual – but being able to validate the new techniques with some rapid wholesale changes was truly exciting and fulfilling. Thanks to the class and to Rob for such an enriching and interesting weekend.
– PM, RMT
It was a great course. Incorporated a few of the very basic techniques into a treatment today and the client said it was the best treatment he’s ever had.

I have a patient who suffered from stress fractures and calcaneal pain. After the treatment, the Patient had stated “OMG this is the best my ankle has felt in years.” Her Ankle made an almighty “clunk “and the patient reported that, “it felt like it’s needed to do that for ever”. Interestingly, traditional joint mobs have not had the same outcome. The relief lasted for about 5 days.
A second Patient who runs marathon stated that, “the new techniques made my foot feel brilliant and I had the most kickass run I’ve had in a long time!”
A third patient who also runs marathons emailed, “… just wanted to let you know my foot feels really good. What ever you did really loosened it up. “
L.A.S.T. is an invaluable set of techniques that have improved outcomes for my Patients!!!

I initially injured my right wrist over a year ago and have just lived with the pain. After the treatment, I took the 3 days off as you instructed and started lifting weights again with only mild discomfort. For what I did with it, last week was probably the best week since the injury.
– Drew Teskey, Physiotherapist
Having received typical physiotherapy treatments for previous injuries and comparing them to the LAST techniques utilized for an acute second degree ankle sprain, I recuperated much faster and with better stability and strength with the LAST techniques. I immediately noticed a decrease in swelling and pain and an immediate sense of stability in the ankle right after the first treatment. Thanks for returning my quality of life!
– BB, Patient
I’ve managed to incorporate the technique into several of my treatments, most especially my patient with carpal tunnel/TOS. The sternal/chondral techniques have been particularly helpful with my patients with upper back problems. The course itself was awesome! I definitely thought it was a good balance of hands-on/demo time. I particularly liked that it was a small group.
– MF, RMT
I loved the course and the treatments!!!! I can’t wait for the next level. I do use it in a lot of treatments. My patients love the addition! Positive results and feedback.
I enjoyed how layed back the class was. I learn that way so it was perfect for me!
– NS, RMT
Relying solely on tissue response, I had one very interesting reaction in a patient just yesterday, regular myofascial release techniques hadn’t made much difference, and trigger point therapy was proving too painful. At the beginning of the treatment, I noticed what seemed to be a lot of funny twitching and variations in tension. As I worked, the twitching gradually decreased and the tissues grew warmer, the twitching had all but ceased, and her breathing, which has always been rather shallow, had slowed and deepened. I will alternate between LAST and Myofascial release techniques.
– TLG, RMT
I am using the LAST techniques in my practice and love it …especially the arm techniques!
